Martin Hirshland to Be Installed as President of the L.A. County Bar Association’s Barristers

Dykema is proud to announce that Martin F. Hirshland will be installed as President of the Los Angeles County Bar Association’s (LACBA) Barristers for the 2026–2027 term during the association’s Installation & Awards Dinner on June 18, 2026, at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles.

As President, Hirshland will lead the Barristers Executive Committee and help guide programming, professional development initiatives, community outreach efforts, and engagement opportunities for early-career attorneys throughout Los Angeles County. He will be sworn in during LACBA’s annual Installation & Awards Dinner, one of the organization’s premier events attended by attorneys, judges, and legal leaders from across the Los Angeles community. Dykema is proud to support the event as a sponsor, and Hirshland will address attendees following his installation.

Hirshland has been actively involved with LACBA since 2018, beginning his service with the Barristers/Young Attorneys Executive Committee. During his tenure, he has served in numerous leadership positions, including Assistant Vice President of Outreach, Assistant Vice President of Special Events, Chair of the Law Student Outreach Committee, Assistant Vice President of Public Relations, Vice President, and President-Elect. He also serves on the Executive Committee of LACBA’s Board of Trustees.

LACBA is one of the largest voluntary bar associations in the country, serving thousands of attorneys, judges, and legal professionals throughout Los Angeles County. Through leadership development, educational programming, networking opportunities, and community engagement initiatives, the Barristers help cultivate the next generation of leaders in the Los Angeles legal community.
