Martin Hirshland is an associate in Dykema's Los Angeles office. He focuses his practice on litigation matters.
Martin represents Fortune 500 companies and high net worth individuals in cases involving breach of contract, fraud, intellectual property, privacy, partnership disagreements, and general business litigation in state and federal court, administrative proceedings, arbitration, and mediation. Martin joined Dykema’s Los Angeles office in June of 2022 after working at boutique entertainment litigation powerhouse Lavely & Singer, where he represented celebrities, influencers, and start-ups in matters including but not limited to copyright, defamation, and right of publicity.
Martin obtained his J.D. from Loyola Law School in 2018, where he was a recipient of an Alumni Association Scholarship and earned a Concentration Certificate in Intellectual Property Advocacy. While in law school, Martin served as president of Loyola's Entertainment and Sports Law Society. Martin obtained his B.A. in Political Science from the University of California, Santa Cruz in 2011. During college, Martin studied abroad in Hyderabad, India for six months.
Martin is an active member of the State Bar of California, the Beverly Hills Bar Association, and the Los Angeles County Bar Association, where he has served on the Barrister's Executive Committee since 2019.
