Dykema is proud to announce that Sam Kilberg was selected as a participant in the Leadership Oakland Cornerstone Program class for 2021-22. Kilberg is one of only 48 professionals from across Oakland County who will participate in a nine-month leadership experience.
The class of 2021-22 will kick off its leadership experience with a two-day retreat followed by monthly sessions on topics facing Oakland County, such as education, government, the justice system, health and human services, race and ethnic diversity, and more.
“We are excited to kick off another class,” said Thomas Sommer, executive director of Leadership Oakland. “The individuals who make up this class are changemakers and doers and the knowledge they gain with us will make them stronger and more resilient in their chosen industries – something that will benefit this region immensely."
Kilberg's diverse practice touches many aspects of the real estate industry, including land use and zoning, landlord/tenant, commercial leasing, eminent domain, acquisition, and financing. He routinely helps Fortune 500 companies, renewable energy developers, small businesses, and entrepreneurs through the zoning entitlement process. Additionally, Kilberg has significant experience representing clients in the cannabis industry, obtaining dozens of license approval at the municipal and state level.
