Understanding Employment Law Pitfalls for 2024

Sean Darke and Abad Lopez will serve as featured presenters for the Illinois Chamber seminar, "Understanding Employment Law Pitfalls for 2024."

This half-day seminar will discuss hot topics Illinois Employers are facing for 2024. Darke and Lopez will review the most recent paid leave laws enacted in Illinois and Chicago and how those laws can work with the Family Medical Leave Act and other federal laws. The seminar will also discuss the numerous independent contractor tests that Illinois Employers need to understand and be in compliance. And Section 7 rights, as the NLRB continues to pursue litigation against non-union companies, this seminar will discuss those rights and provide safeguards for Employers.
