Elisa Lintemuth Quoted in Detroit Free Press and USA Today Regarding COVID-19 Vaccine Mandates

Elisa Lintemuth, Grand Rapids-based Member in Dykema’s Labor and Employment Practice Group, was quoted in the Detroit Free Press article, “Yes, Michigan employers can mandate COVID-19 vaccinations – but it could bring problems.” The article was also picked up by USA Today as well.

In the article, Lintemuth said the companies she has spoken with are hesitant to make COVID-19 vaccinations mandatory and, because the vaccines have been fast-tracked, there is some concern about their safety from the general public. She stated that some Michigan employers are not yet ready to mandate the vaccine, but will encourage or incentivize employees to receive the shots.
