Arlene Switzer Steinfield Contributes to InsideCounsel Labor & Employment Digest

Arlene Switzer Steinfield, Dallas-based senior counsel in Dykema’s Labor and Employment Practice, contributed to the Labor & Employment Digest section of the September issue of InsideCounsel. Her piece was entitled, “Unpaid internships an unseen liability.”

Steinfield discusses the rapidly growing trend among unpaid interns to bring collective and individual actions against employers to recover compensation for all hours worked under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). She also discusses court findings in such cases related to these cases and employers’ responses to the trend.
