Sandra Cotter Quoted in Crain’s Detroit Business Article on Lobbying Efforts by Powerful Law Firms

Lansing-based attorney Sandra M. Cotter, Director of Dykema's Regulated Industries Department and Leader of its Government Policy & Practice Group, was quoted in the Crain’s Detroit Business article titled, “Lansing power brokers: Law firms, others strengthen their lobbying corps.”

The article discusses how law firms with offices in Michigan are hiring more in-house lobbyists or forming other partnerships. Cotter points out that litigation can take years to play out and be very expensive for clients, but working to change the law can get results more efficiently and effectively, and for less money.
