Crain’s Detroit Business Talks to Steve Liedel Regarding Governor Whitmer’s Ability to Slow the Spread of COVID-19

Steve Liedel, the Managing Member of Dykema’s Lansing office, was quoted in the Crain’s Detroit Business article, “A week we’ve not seen before: Businesses in uncharted territory as caution brings many halts.”

In the article, Liedel discusses the broad range of tools Governor Whitmer has at her disposal, allowing her to act quickly to slow the spread of COVID-19. Liedel previously served as former Michigan Governor Jennifer Granholm’s chief legal counsel and also served as general counsel for Governor Gretchen Whitmer’s 2018 gubernatorial transition team.
