On Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at 12noon ET (9am PT), the Dykema Automotive Institute will present a 90-minute webinar on “Doing Business in Korea and with Korean Companies in the U.S.”  Featured speakers—all of whom will present their remarks from Dykema’s Los Angeles Office—will include James L. Park, Chairman-Global Auto Systems, Inc.; Joel Ewanick, former VP, Global Chief Marketing Officer-General Motors; and Hoon Noh, Senior Counsel and Assistant Leader, Korea Team-Dykema. Jin-Kyu Koh, leader of Dykema’s Korean Business Team, will moderate this panel discussion.

This presentation is timely and important for two reasons. First, Korea is one of the largest and most sophisticated automobile-producing nations in the world (fifth-largest in terms of assembled autos; sixth-largest in terms of auto export volume). Second, the country adjoins North Korea, whose recent saber-rattling has focused the world’s attention on that country’s military might and missile-launching capabilities.
