Jason Hanselman Quoted in Law360 Article

Jason T. Hanselman, Lansing-based member in Dykema’s Government Policy & Practice group, was quoted in the Law360 article, “MGM May Eye Delay More Than Win In Conn. Casino Row.”

The article discusses MGM Resorts International’s uphill battle in its constitutional challenge to a Connecticut law that would allow the Mashantucket Pequot and Mohegan tribes to open a third casino in the state. Hanselman points out that the company's dormant Commerce Clause argument is a creative one, but then also explains a strategy as to how the state might want to defend against it.
