Elizabeth Khalil Authors Law360 Article on the CFPB’s Proposed Arbitration Rule

Elizabeth Khalil, Chicago-based member in Dykema’s Government Policy Practice Group and member of the firm’s Financial Industry Group, authored the article “CFPB Rule Is Keen On Restricting Arbitration Clauses,” which appeared in Law360.

In the article, Khalil discusses the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau’s (CFPB) proposed rule on arbitration, which would drastically change many consumer financial contracts. She delves the arbitration study, which was the basis for the CFPB’s rulemaking, and also highlights the CFPB’s request for comments.
