Cox Smith, the largest Texas law firm headquartered in San Antonio, today announced that 25 of its attorneys from its offices in Austin, Dallas, El Paso and San Antonio were named to the 2013 Texas Super Lawyers list as some of the top attorneys in Texas.

In addition to these honors, renowned bankruptcy attorney Deborah Williamson was selected again as one of the state’s top 50 women attorneys and top 50 attorneys in Central/West Texas. Arlene Switzer Steinfield, who has more than 30 years of experience in representing management in labor and employment law, was also identified again as one of the state’s top 50 women attorneys and top 100 attorneys in Dallas/Fort Worth.

Super Lawyers, a Thomson Reuters business, is a rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The annual selections are made using a patented multiphase process that includes a statewide survey of lawyers, an independent research evaluation of candidates and peer reviews by practice area. The result is a credible, comprehensive and diverse listing of exceptional attorneys to be used as a resource for both referring attorneys and consumers seeking legal counsel. Each year, no more than five percent of the lawyers in the state are selected by the research team at Super Lawyers to receive this honor. The Super Lawyers lists are published nationwide in Super Lawyers Magazines and in leading city and regional magazines and newspapers across the country.
