Michigan Governor Rick Snyder Appoints Bill Perrone to the Michigan Board of Dentistry

Dykema, a leading national law firm, announced today that Michigan Governor Rick Snyder appointed Bill Perrone, Office Managing Member of the firm’s Lansing office, to the Michigan Board of Dentistry. Perrone will serve a four-year term, which expires on June 30, 2019.

The Michigan Board of Dentistry assists the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs in overseeing and regulating the practice of more than 7,800 dentists, 10,100 dental hygienists and 1,400 dental assistants. The 19-member board is made up of eight dentists, two dental specialists, four hygienists, two registered dental assistants, and three members from the general public.

Perrone focuses his practice in the area of state regulations, real estate and mortgage financing for clients in the manufactured housing, energy and insurance sectors. A former assistant attorney general with the state of Michigan, Perrone has a broad range of legal experience related to state government and Michigan administrative law, including government policy, election law, campaign finance and professional and health care licensing

Perrone earned a J.D., cum laude, from Wayne State University and a B.A., magna cum laude, from Michigan State University.
