In other work, Bloomfield Hills-based James Feeney is lead trial counsel for American Multinational Automaker in a $100m claim regarding a vehicle that caught fire on a ship, leading to destruction and damage to cargo. The client roster also includes Honda, General Motors and Ford.”

Dykema “regularly acts for major foreign and domestic auto manufacturers in headline class actions, personal injury disputes and product liability claims. Indeed, Terri Reiskin and Los Angeles-based Derek Whitefield defended Toyota Motor Corporation in a class action suit in Florida regarding the Takata airbag recall. In the Ann Arbor office, Jill Wheaton successfully represented Ford Motor Company on appeal of an asbestos-related liability claim. Detroit-based Michael Cooney heads the litigation department, while John Thomas, who focuses on automotive product liability cases, is a key contact in the Ann Arbor office.”

Immigration

Dykema “handles a comprehensive spread of temporary and permanent visa processing procedures, immigration sponsorship, asylum matters, naturalization issues and labor certification applications. Michigan-based litigator James Aldrich, who has an established track record in representing clients before USCIS and other government agencies, heads up the practice.”
