Andres E. De La Cruz
Associate
Andy is an associate at Dykema’s Los Angeles office. He practices within the firm’s product liability and class action litigation practice group.
Andy possesses strong research and writing skills and has extensive experience working in the judiciary as a former judicial law clerk and judicial extern at the federal and state court levels.
While in law school, Andres externed for Chief Judge Philip S. Gutierrez of the United States District Court for the Central District of California and Justice Sabrina S. McKenna of the Hawaiʻi Supreme Court. He was an oralist for the Southwestern Moot Court Honors Program and a staffer and associate editor for the Southwestern Law Review. He also served as Co-President of his law school’s Latino Law Students Association and was a Senior Writing Fellow at the Southwestern Writing Center. Following law school, Andres completed a one-year clerkship with Chief Judge Michael P. Gibbons of the Nevada Court of Appeals.
