Ben appreciates his clients’ priorities and understands their goals. In every transaction, he brings a relentless focus to the issues that can make or break a deal while wasting no time on tangential or ultimately inconsequential matters that only serve to unnecessarily delay or complicate things. Knowing his personal investment in their success and his affinity and acumen at closing deals, clients from a diverse array of industries turn to Ben for guidance, including commercial real estate developers, municipal construction firms, real estate agencies, lenders, retailers, small business proprietors, healthcare entities, charitable organizations, and numerous others with real estate and business requirements.

Ben has a wealth of experience managing all facets of real estate and business transactions, particularly in commercial, industrial, and residential leasing and landlord/tenant issues, primarily on the landlord side. He is also particularly well versed in the zoning and land use issues that can play definitive roles in the viability, success, or profitability of real estate projects.

Adeptly assisting businesses in both routine and complex commercial transactions, Ben handles acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, partnerships, secured transactions, asset safeguarding, and mergers and acquisitions. Additionally, he guides clients through all commercial lending and refinance matters, along with the acquisition and disposition of distressed assets.

Ben has skillfully represented and advised businesses in receivership situations and asset management/disposition scenarios. He is well-versed in commercial cannabis real estate and licensing transactions, as well as corporate structures for compliance at the municipal and state levels. Furthermore, he has provided legal counsel to technology and software companies engaged in software development, SaaS, security, and privacy concerns.

When disputes arise, Ben’s substantial litigation experience complements his business background to provide his clients with powerful and effective advocacy in a wide range of matters, including contractual disputes, shareholder disagreements, oppression claims, and separation agreements.

There are few obstacles to a deal that can't be resolved with creativity, persistence, and persuasiveness. Leveraging all three of these skills allows me to get transactions across the finish line without delay or disruption.
