Erik Kandah is an associate in Dykema's Detroit office. He focuses his practice on business litigation matters.

Erik represents clients in a wide spectrum of complex disputes. His experience spans the entire lifecycle of litigation, from initial case assessment and strategic discovery management to sophisticated motion practice and preparation for trial.

 

Prior to joining Dykema, Erik served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable David C. Guaderrama of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas. This high-level experience provided him with invaluable insight into judicial decision-making, opinion drafting, and the effective management of high-stakes dockets. Erik is able to provide clients with a unique perspective on federal litigation strategy and procedure.

During law school at Wayne State University, Erik served as a Senior Editor for the Wayne Law Review. He also served as an Executive Member of Wayne Law Moot Court, where he competed at the UCLA Cybersecurity Law Competition and the ABA’s National Appellate Advocacy Competition.
