Gabriela earned her J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center, where she served as Chief Casenotes and Comments Editor for the Houston Journal of International Law and published her article, Profiting Off Paradise: Unpacking Puerto Rico’s Tax Incentive Impact on the Local Population. During law school, she was an active member of the Latinx Law Students Association, serving as both Membership Chair and Internal Vice President. She also gained valuable insight into the judicial process as a judicial intern for the Honorable Yvonne Y. Ho.
