Hannah R. Humes

Hannah’s practice focuses on estate planning, estate and trust administration, probate matters, probate litigation, and estate and gift tax issues. She assists clients with a broad range of planning and administration matters, helping them create strategies that reflect their personal priorities, family dynamics, and long-term objectives. Whether developing an estate plan, guiding fiduciaries through trust and estate administration, or assisting with probate-related disputes, Hannah is committed to helping clients make informed decisions with confidence.

Recognizing that estate and trust matters often involve sensitive family issues and difficult conversations, Hannah strives to make the legal process approachable and understandable. Clients appreciate her diligence, responsiveness, and attention to detail, as well as her commitment to providing practical solutions that address both immediate concerns and long-term planning goals.

Prior to joining Dykema, Hannah served as a Judicial Fellow at the Michigan Court of Appeals. That experience strengthened her legal research, writing, and analytical skills, which she now applies to helping clients navigate estate planning, administration, and probate matters.
