Layne Mustian

Layne Mustian is an associate in Dykema's San Antonio office. She focuses her practice on commercial litigation matters.

Layne brings invaluable insight into federal judicial strategy and procedure from her service as a Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Craig A. Gargotta, Chief Judge of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Texas. This experience gives her a unique perspective on complex commercial disputes and motions practice, which directly benefits clients navigating challenging legal landscapes.

Prior to her clerkship, Layne gained a strong foundation in private practice as a summer associate with Dykema. She also developed sophisticated research and writing skills as a research assistant to Associate Dean Colin P. Marks, J.D., at St. Mary’s University School of Law, and served as a Law Clerk for the Law Office of Cesar Montalvo, PLLC.

Layne earned her J.D. from St. Mary’s University School of Law in San Antonio, Texas.
