Michael Collier is an associate attorney in Dykema’s San Antonio office and a member of the firm’s Litigation Department. He is a Commercial Litigation attorney whose practice focuses on representing clients in complex commercial disputes and business litigation matters.

Representing clients across Texas, Michael focuses on commercial litigation and works closely with businesses to manage complex disputes with practical strategy and responsive counsel.

Michael supports clients involved in high-stakes matters by helping them assess risk early, develop practical litigation strategies, and pursue outcomes aligned with business objectives. As a Business Litigation attorney, he assists clients through all phases of litigation, from initial case evaluation through resolution, including pleadings, written discovery, motion practice, settlement strategy, and trial preparation.

Michael works closely with Dykema’s team of corporate litigation lawyers to manage matters efficiently and position clients for strong outcomes in contested and fast-moving disputes. He contributes to the development of persuasive written advocacy and supports litigation teams in building clear factual records through targeted discovery and strategic analysis.

Michael takes a client-first approach to litigation, working closely with clients to understand what matters most while providing responsive, practical guidance. Throughout each stage of the litigation process, he focuses on helping clients feel informed, prepared, and confident in the path forward. In doing so, Michael Collier upholds Dykema’s longstanding mission to provide high-quality legal support and trusted advocacy to the clients and communities the firm serves.

Prior to joining Dykema, Michael lived in Boston, Massachusetts where he represented a variety of clients from small businesses to national insurers.
