Monika Harris is an associate at Dykema's Chicago office who specializes in business litigation matters. Monika provides valuable advice primarily to clients in the manufacturing and insurance industries. In her practice, she advises clients on litigation strategies for a variety of matters including breach of warranty, premises liability, consumer financial services, breach of contract, deceptive business practices, and tortious interference with business expectancy. Monika represents business clients in federal and state courts.

Prior to her legal career, Monika worked as a high school English teacher. During that time, she played a crucial role in standardizing curriculum across the district and implementing the use of digital platforms. Monika draws upon her experience as an English teacher to inform her drafting of legal documents.

Monika earned her J.D. from Loyola University Chicago School of Law. While in law school, Monika participated in the Loyola University Chicago Law Journal and excelled on the Moot Court competition team. She also holds a bachelor's degree from Northwestern University and a master's degree from Concordia University Chicago.
