Tiffany H. Eggers

Senior Counsel

With a career anchored by her work in litigation, white collar and government investigations, and cybersecurity, Tiffany Eggers leverages more than 25 years of trial and supervisory experience in state and federal courts to advocate for her clients. She has tried nearly 140 jury trials—including 49 in federal court—and most recently led the U.S. Attorney’s Office’s National Security and Cyber Section.

A 20-year DOJ veteran, Tiffany previously served as the Criminal Chief for the Northern District of Texas, overseeing all criminal prosecutions and supervising a team of more than 65 Assistant U.S. Attorneys. Her experience spans health care fraud and other white-collar matters, including bank, securities, tax, mail, and wire fraud, ransomware attacks, cybersecurity breaches, public corruption, money laundering, asset forfeiture, and national security threats. She is a recognized national authority on cybercrime and has led investigations and prosecutions in some of the country’s most complex and high-profile cyber matters.

Notably, of Tiffany’s 49 federal jury trials, more than a third of them directly involved financial institutions. This includes 11 trials where a bank was a primary victim or an affected party, and an additional eight where bank or other corporate employees were called as witnesses. Through this extensive experience, Tiffany has developed an intimate knowledge of the regulations and statutes that impact banks, corporations, and individuals.

In addition to her vast trial experience, Tiffany spent a quarter-century overseeing and leading hundreds of law enforcement investigations, naturally resulting in her heading internal investigations for clients in the private sector. She also assists clients who have received process from law enforcement and government authorities by helping them navigate interviews, document productions, grand jury appearances, and testimony preparation. Further, she assists clients who are victims of cyber incidents and fraud. Tiffany earned her J.D., cum laude, from the Florida State University College of Law and her B.S. in Criminal Justice, summa cum laude, from Jacksonville State University.
