To a large degree, Bonnie Kirkland's success as a litigator comes from recognizing that civility, candor, and professionalism are not antithetical to vigorous, determined advocacy.
Instead, Bonnie leverages her ability to establish constructive dialogue with opposing parties to her clients' advantage. And she consistently uses it to find and facilitate creative, positive resolutions in first-party insurance claims, federal procurement litigation, banking litigation, employment disputes, and other commercial matters.
With a wealth of industry and institutional knowledge, Bonnie plays an integral role as part of a team defending a national insurance provider against first-party insurance claims throughout Texas, including catastrophe claims resulting from weather events and coverage litigation disputes.
She understands how her clients work, knows their pressures and priorities, and delivers clear-eyed assessments of their risks and options when claims arise. In turn, clients appreciate her practical approach to matters and her agility in adjusting defense strategies to align with shifting goals and circumstances.
