Emily Reed, a corporate finance attorney in Dykema's San Antonio office, focuses her practice on mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and corporate governance matters. Emily uses her knowledge and experience to help clients achieve their business goals and support clients in any stage of their business life cycle.

She assists clients on both buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions, and works with clients across a wide range of industries, including food and beverage, healthcare, banking, SaaS, manufacturing, and investment management. Additionally, Emily has experience in private securities and investment transactions. She has assisted both investors seeking to buy in to a private company, as well as private companies offering investment opportunities to employees and other third party investors.

While in law school at St. Mary’s University School of Law, Emily competed with the St. Mary’s National Moot Court Team, served as a Senior Associate Editor of the St. Mary’s Law Journal, and was inducted into the Order of Barristers. She also graduated summa cum laude, and was inducted into the John M. Harlan Society, an organization that recognizes students who have excelled academically at St. Mary's University and graduate in the top 10% of the class.
