Mr. Hauberg is the Director of Dykema’s Real Estate and Environmental Services Department, overseeing and coordinating the operations of 45 attorneys nationwide. Known in the real estate community as a lawyer who gets deals done, Kyle is also a trusted business advisor to many long-term clients with whom he has shared an over 25-year relationship. Kyle completes dozens of development, acquisition, sale, lease and financing projects for his clients across the county each year.  In addition to these projects, Kyle regularly represents both sponsors and investors in the negotiation of joint ventures. Kyle’s regular real estate clients include (a) Michigan developers Cedarbrook Senior Living, Versa Development, Kalabat Group, Robert Grooters Development Co., and Mansour Companies, (b) national real estate companies Mapletree US, First Industrial, IDI Logistics and Stotan Industrial, and (c) corporate clients General Motors, Kelly Services, PulteGroup, William Beaumont Hospital, Williams International, Robert Bosch LLC, Huntington Bank, and Total Sports. Clients quoted in Chambers USA 2021 recognize Mr. Hauberg as “a great lawyer,” stating they “hold him in the highest respect."

  • Represent Huntington Bank (and initially successors Chemical Bank and TCF Bank) in the ongoing development of the Huntington Tower, Detroit, Michigan.
  • Represent Williams International in the acquisition and ongoing development of its corporate headquarters in Pontiac, Michigan.
  • Represent Cedarbrook Senior Living in the acquisition, development and ongoing operation of three (3) elite-class Continuing Care Retirement Communities in Bloomfield Hills, Northville and Rochester, Michigan.
  • Represented UAW-GM Center for Human Resources in the sale of its former, 420,000 sq. ft. headquarters located at 200 Walker, Detroit, Michigan.
  • Represented Kelly Services in the sale-leaseback of its corporate headquarters in Troy, Michigan.
  • Represent PulteGroup in all corporate real estate projects nationwide, including the State of Michigan.
  • Represent William Beaumont Hospital in connection with ground lease projects, including medical office buildings, new hospitals, hotel projects and urgent care projects, throughout southeast Michigan.
  • Represent Kalabat Group and its affiliates in the acquisition, development and sale of industrial projects and restaurant projects across the State of Michigan.
  • Represent First Industrial in all leasing and disposition projects in the State of Michigan.
  • Represented Robert Grooters Development Co. in the acquisition, development, leasing and disposition of 500,000 sq. ft. industrial project in Muskegon, Michigan.
