Matt’s practice focuses on complex litigation, including product liability, construction, environmental and multifaceted commercial disputes. Matt recognizes that having an airtight understanding of the technical merits of complicated disputes is key to forcefully advocating in and out of the courtroom. Matt also understands that sometimes the best business solutions are reached not through scorched-earth litigation, but through cooperative negotiation, which guides his practice.

Matt represents clients in state and federal courts across the country, including in Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, Missouri, Iowa, and Florida. He has significant experience defending automotive product liability matters for major manufacturers and suppliers, including cases that involve airbags, seatbelts, engines, and fuel systems. He also has experience representing design professionals, general contractors, and subcontractors in various construction and environmental related disputes.
