Stacey McGraw is a strategist who helps carriers mitigate risks associated with potential director, officer, and insured entity liability. Clients appreciate her extensive knowledge of complex directors and officers, errors and omissions, and cyber-liability policies and value her sound judgment and objectivity—behind the scenes and in litigation.

When shareholders, whistleblowers, creditors, and others accuse corporate leaders of breaching their fiduciary duties or other wrongdoing, professional liability insurers can face complicated questions about potential liability and coverage.

That’s when they turn to Stacey.

From the outset, Stacey counsels insurance company clients on efficient and effective handling of D&O and E&O exposures.

Well-versed in commonly used policy language along with new underwriting strategies and products, she advises and defends insurance carriers on coverage issues both inside and outside of the litigation arena, from initial notice through matter resolution.

There can be many competing interests and moving parts in a professional liability claim, particularly when a merger, acquisition, or bankruptcy is involved.

Stacey cuts through the complexities to provide level-headed assessment of bottom-line risk and exposure that helps clients make key decisions and manage potential outcomes.

Data breaches and cyberattacks are growing threats in today’s economy, especially for companies that store consumers’ personal information and financial data, possibly triggering claims under cyber liability, D&O, E&O, and other forms of insurance.

Stacey is well versed in developments in this high-profile area, providing thoughtful guidance her insurance clients need to respond appropriately.

I mostly provide clients with insight on complex coverage analysis, litigation, and settlement strategy, but I try to help wherever and however I can. I’ve stepped in to assist with claims department training, review of new insurance language and products, presentations to underwriters—whatever the client needs to manage their day-to-day challenges and strategic objectives.
