Travis Plummer counsels clients on general commercial, construction, insurance, consumer and healthcare litigation. He is a former member of the firm's Associates' Committee. In 2010, Mr. Plummer served a Judicial Internship with The Honorable Xavier Rodriguez, U. S. District Court, Western District of Texas.


Based in both Austin and San Antonio, Travis has recently advised on disputes regarding commercial transactions, insurance litigation, construction law, company structures, intellectual property, Deceptive Trade Practices Act claims, financial service disputes, non-compete and non-solicitation agreements, commercial leases, land use and zoning.

In construction matters, Travis represents a variety of owners, contractors, and architects defending and prosecuting claims of construction defects, breaches of professional responsibility, and non-payment of contracts.

In the insurance industry, Travis represents insurers in first-party claims for property damage, as well as interpleader actions.

In the healthcare arena, Travis represents providers and physicians in commercial disputes and administrative hearings. He also advises on contracts and practices for healthcare regulation compliance.

Litigation Involving Construction and Design Disputes
Represented contractors, architects, and owners in claims involving allegations of construction defects, violations of professional negligence, and breach of contract.

Litigation Involving Insurance Property Claims
Represented insurance carriers in first-party property claims for breach of contract, breach of the Insurance Code, breach of the Deceptive Trade Practices Act, breach of the duty of good faith and fair dealing, and fraud.

Litigation Involving Theft of Trade Secrets and Unfair Competition
Represented several clients in prosecuting and defending claims for theft of trade secrets by former employees, as well as violations of non-compete, confidentiality, and non-disclosure agreements.

Litigation Involving Promissory Notes and Business Advances
Represented clients in prosecuting and defending suits involving promissory notes, capital investments, business advances, and suits on sworn accounts.

Litigation Involving Defamation and Business Disparagement
Represented clients in defending suits involving claims of defamation and business disparagement.

Litigation Involving Land Use Dispute
Represented a major university in a land use dispute and obtained a favorable result for the university before the San Antonio Board of Adjustment, which affirmed the university’s use of its property and granted all relief requested.
