Labor and Employment Workshop

Join us on February 5th: Donna McElroy, Hannah Hembree and Ricardo Vielledent will lead a workshop on "I know what you did last summer...and how you did it...and what your plans are for the future..."

With the increased pace of communications and the ever-changing technologies for engaging in such communications, employers today are required to keep up both with the methods and substance of employee communications (whether “official” or not) and government restrictions on the monitoring and use of such communications, with respect to disciplinary action.

Topics to be addressed:     

• Tools being used by your employees to communicate (both internally and externally)
• The risks related to those tools
• The steps that you should take to ensure that such communications are appropriate
• How to protect confidential materials
• Disciplining employees for violating communication policies
