Connor Walby will serve as a featured speaker at the American Conference Institute’s 2nd Annual EV Battery and Advanced Technology Supply Chain and Compliance Summit on March 12, 2026, in Chicago. This one-day Summit convenes automotive, battery, and technology leaders to address the legal, regulatory, and supply chain challenges emerging as EV demand accelerates, ADAS systems become mainstream, and regulatory and geopolitical pressures reshape global manufacturing and compliance strategies.
Walby will participate in the panel “Battery Safety 2026: Preventing Fires, Proving Safety, and Containing Claims,” which will focus on the evolving safety and liability risks associated with EV batteries. The discussion will cover strategies for documenting battery safety to support design and warning defenses, coordinating recalls and over-the-air remedies to limit class exposure and control costs, and allocating liability among suppliers through tighter specifications, change-control, and testing requirements.
