Dykema, a leading national law firm, is proud to announce that the firm was recognized as a 2025 “Michigan Powerhouse” by Law360. The recognition comes through the publication’s annual listing of “Regional Powerhouses,” a series in which Law360 highlights the work of “exemplary” firms driving emerging legal trends in 14 selected regions. Dykema is one of only three firms selected in the Michigan region.
Law360 profiled Dykema as a part of this recognition in the article, “Michigan Powerhouses: Dykema.” The article highlighted the firm’s role in many of Michigan’s most notable, high-profile, and complex matters. These include guiding Universal Logistics Holdings Inc. through its $193 million acquisition of Parsec LLC, negotiating a first-of-its-kind sponsorship arrangement at Ford Field for a CBD performance brand founded by former Detroit Lions players, and defending a Michigan county in a groundbreaking class action involving surplus proceeds from tax-foreclosed home sales. The story also referenced a recent high-profile pro bono victory secured by the firm.
The article also recognized the strength of Dykema’s government investigations and white collar practices, as well as the firm’s longstanding role advising automotive companies, real estate developers, and tax clients on matters central to Michigan’s economy.
Several Dykema attorneys were quoted throughout the article, some for their roles in the aforementioned matters, and all regarding the firm’s collaborative culture and national platform, which allows attorneys to serve clients not only across the Great Lakes region but throughout the country. Those quoted include Lisa Brown, Brendan Cahill, Mark Chutkow, Adam Fishkind, John Fraser, and Ted Seitz.
Law360 also highlighted the return of the firm's Detroit office to the city's Central Business District just as Dykema prepares to celebrate its 100th anniversary.
