Lisa Brown is Co-Leader of Dykema's Supply Chain group and Leader of the firm's Recall Cost Recovery team. She also serves as the Office Managing Member of Dykema's Detroit office. For more than 26 years, she has represented global manufacturing and automotive companies and suppliers in complex commercial litigation matters and advised clients on contracting and pre-litigation strategy. While her practice is rooted in the automotive and manufacturing sectors, she also represents clients in complex disputes across industries, including technology, healthcare, and other commercial markets.
Recognized by The Legal 500 United States as a Leading Lawyer in Automotive Litigation, Lisa has counseled clients on warranty and recall cost recovery, contracting and supply risks, pricing and commercial claims, stop-ship threats, plant closures, termination and obsolescence claims, and other complex commercial disputes.
Supply chain issues often present high-stakes business challenges, particularly for manufacturers. Lisa develops practical, business-focused solutions through negotiation and pre-litigation strategies while remaining prepared to advocate for her clients in jury trials, private arbitrations, and other legal forums across the country when litigation becomes necessary.
Lisa is adamant about client service and building strong working relationships with clients and colleagues. She is known for her responsiveness, superior work ethic, and 24/7 availability.
Prior to becoming Office Managing Member, Lisa served as Dykema's Hiring Partner and was the face of the firm to law schools, students, and lateral candidates for more than a decade.
“My clients often trust me when the stakes are at their highest. I strive every day to deliver on that trust.”
