Mel Muskovitz, Ann Arbor-based Senior Counsel in Dykema’s Labor and Employment practice group, was quoted in the Business Insurance article, “Compulsory vaccine programs could create workplace friction.”

In the article, Muskovitz and others discussed employers’ responses to worker objections to receiving the COVID vaccine, such as medical or religious beliefs, politicization of the issue, and possible reluctance of some minority groups to participate. Muskovitz said, “Each employer needs to have an individual assessment of the best program for them based upon the industry, the size and the nature of duties of the employees.”
