Elizabeth Voss, Dallas-based Senior Attorney in Dykema’s Labor and Employment practice, was quoted in the SHRM article, “Here’s What Employers Need to Know About USERRA Leave.”

In the article, Voss discussed USERRA Leave and its differences with other types of leave such as Title VII, the ADA, and FMLA. She emphasized USERRA’s different requirements for leave notice and documentation and added that employers should not only have a military leave policy, but also address USERRA in their anti-discrimination policies and training.
