Gordon and Hanselman Address Michigan Board of State Canvassers in Bridge Magazine

Lansing-based attorneys Gary P. Gordon and Jason T. Hanselman of Dykema’s Government Policy & Practice group were photographed for Bridge Magazine’s Public Sector column, “Legal Marijuana Headed to Michigan Ballot; Prevailing Wage Repeal to Court.”

The Dykema attorneys are representing Protecting Michigan Taxpayers, whose petitions to repeal the state’s Prevailing Wage Law have been challenged regarding the validity of their signatories’ addresses. The statute obligates contractors to pay customary (i.e., union-scale) local wages to its employees.
