Amia A. Banks is an associate in Dykema’s Lansing office, where she focuses her practice on real estate, corporate, and regulated industry matters.

Amia works with clients to structure and document real estate, asset, and entity acquisitions and dispositions. She has experience drafting and negotiating complex contracts and advising on affordable housing and community development programs, as well as conducting comprehensive due diligence. She also helps clients navigate legal requirements in regulated industries, ensuring compliance while supporting growth.

Her practice includes preparing, reviewing, and negotiating loan documents, leases, including purchase and sale agreements, and third-party agreements to protect clients’ interests. In addition, Amia assists with business formation and organizational structuring, including drafting shareholder, operating, and partnership agreements, bylaws, and other transactional documents. She provides guidance on regulatory compliance, zoning, title matters, and surveys, helping projects move forward efficiently and in full compliance with applicable laws.
