Empowered with the perspectives and insights that can only be acquired through extensive experience, Brent Procida is an accomplished advocate whose efforts have protected and advanced the interests of businesses, financial institutions, and other creditors in bankruptcy, creditors' rights, and general litigation matters.

Brent thrives in the crucible of the courtroom and has amassed an impressive record of adjudicated results in bankruptcy proceedings, lender liability claims, bond litigation, and other contested matters at both the trial and appellate levels. However, he also recognizes that protracted litigation is rarely the optimal course for achieving his clients' strategic objectives. Leveraging his intuitive understanding of the pressures, priorities, and cross-currents implicated in matters involving distressed or insolvent debtors, Brent is able to find creative yet practical solutions in workouts, debt restructurings, and other arrangements that maximize recovery for his clients and otherwise align with their goals.

With an eye for detail and an appreciation that case-determinative facts can sometimes be found in seemingly unlikely places, Brent is adept at developing and implementing well-considered, cost-effective litigation strategies. He does not do so in isolation, however, always working closely with each client to ensure they understand the rationale behind and the mechanics of the course he sets, as well as what to expect moving forward. Brent's responsiveness, collaborative spirit, and commitment to obtaining the best possible outcomes have formed the foundation of the enduring client relationships that are a hallmark of his practice.

Believing that attorneys have a responsibility to give back and use their talents to serve others, Brent has maintained an active pro bono practice, including extensive work for Maryland Volunteer Legal Services (MVLS). In 2025, he was part of a group of attorneys honored by Kids in Need of Defense (KIND) as the 2025 Pro Bono Team of the Year for their exceptional work representing unaccompanied and separated children.

Solutions to complex, multi-dimensional disputes don't magically appear or make themselves readily apparent. You have to know where to look for them and have the insights, creativity, and wherewithal to develop strategies most likely to move parties in the direction of a productive outcome.
