With a balance of forceful advocacy, savvy dealmaking skills, and a penchant for developing creative solutions to seemingly intractable problems, Rosanne Ciambrone protects and advances her clients' interests in a wide range of commercial litigation, bankruptcy, and financial restructuring matters.

As a seasoned courtroom practitioner, Rose understands that the skills, determination, and hard work needed for trial success are also indispensable for finding alternative, negotiated resolutions when doing so would benefit her client. Immersive preparation forms the foundation for Rose's consistent success, while her adaptability and ability to incorporate the perspectives of other parties into her approach facilitate outcomes that align with her clients' objectives and expectations.

Admitted to practice in Illinois, Rosanne is a member of the International Women's Insolvency Restructuring Confederation, the National Association of Women Lawyers, and the American Bar Association. She is a 1988 graduate of the University of Notre Dame Law School and a graduate of the University of Michigan.

Rose's practice extends across all manner of commercial disputes, with an impressive record of favorable results that reflects her extensive trial and appellate experience. She is particularly well-versed in the nuanced issues and challenges that arise when a distressed debtor threatens her clients' interests and position. In her creditor-side bankruptcy work, Rose has represented financial institutions, insurance companies, trustees, and other creditors in Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 proceedings, out-of-court restructurings, and ancillary matters. Diplomatic yet determined, she is adept at bridging differences among multiple parties with divergent interests while never wavering in her advocacy on behalf of her clients.

As committed to her community as she is to her clients, Rose has dedicated years of time and effort on a pro bono basis to the Harold Colbert Jones Memorial Community Center in Chicago Heights, Illinois, where she was born and raised. The Jones Center, for which Rose has volunteered and served as a past president and board member, has provided much-needed assistance to immigrants and others in her hometown since 1917.

In any dispute, knowing where your client wants to wind up is the key to knowing where to start. Every strategic decision and approach must be carefully tailored and squarely focused on what is most likely to achieve the desired outcome.
