Her background working on campaigns—at the local, state, and federal levels—gives her greater insight into how to help her clients navigate complex political landscapes. Her areas of focus include election law, campaign finance, political compliance, and law affecting nonprofit and tax-exempt organizations. She has worked on cases involving constitutional and statutory questions before Michigan's Court of Claims, Court of Appeals, and Supreme Court, and has represented clients before the Board of State Canvassers. She spent her summers in law school working at the U.S. Department of Justice's Voting Section and the Brennan Center for Justice. Her article on how North Carolina adapted its voting requirements and procedures during the Covid-19 pandemic was published in the North Carolina Law Review.
