Elisa Lintemuth, Grand Rapids-based Member in Dykema’s Labor and Employment practice, authored the TLNT article, “Should You Take Action Against Workers Who Attend Holiday Gatherings?”
In the article, Lintemuth discussed possible options for employers whose employees attend large holiday gatherings, including requiring those employees to work remotely for two weeks after the gathering, or stay home for five days before taking a COVID test and then presenting evidence of a negative test before returning to work. Other alternatives included working in staggered shifts or making masks mandatory.
