ACI’s 14th Annual Automotive, Litigation, Regulation, and Innovation Summit
Speaking Engagements
March 10-11, 2026
Laura Baucus and Jay Logel will serve as featured presenters at the American Conference Institute’s 14th Annual Automotive Litigation, Regulation, and Innovation Summit, taking place March 10–11, 2026, in Chicago. This annual Summit convenes legal and industry leaders to address the litigation, regulatory, and commercial challenges shaping the automotive industry.
On March 10, Logel will join the panel “Keeping Pace with New Rules: Understanding Efforts to Regulate Modern Vehicles.” The session will examine how regulators are responding to rapidly evolving vehicle technologies, including over-the-air updates, ADAS and automated vehicles, and emerging data, privacy, emissions, and climate-related requirements at the state, federal, and international levels.
On March 11, Baucus will participate in the panel “Working with Suppliers: A Practical Look at Contracts, Complications, and Canceled Projects.” The discussion will focus on managing supplier relationships amid market volatility, with practical guidance on contract provisions addressing price fluctuations, recalls and warranties, termination rights, and strategies to mitigate risk when projects face disruption or cancellation.
