Bel Martin is a passionate advocate and policy professional with a background in law and public service. She’s built her career around helping people and shaping the policies that impact their lives—from working in both chambers of the Michigan Legislature to leading advocacy efforts at Ascension Health. Bel has served as Deputy Chief of Staff to the Senate Majority Leader and staffed several key committees, including Advice and Consent, Health Policy, and Judiciary. She brings a mix of legal insight, political strategy, and a genuine commitment to improving systems for communities across Michigan.

During her experience in the legislature, Bel helped legislators staff several committees such as Advice and Consent, Financial Liability Reform, Law and Justice, Tax Policy, and Transportation and Infrastructure.
