Ninety-Two Dykema Attorneys Recognized By Best Lawyers

Nearly One in Four Dykema Practitioners Earn Distinction; Seven Merit “Lawyer of the Year” Honors

August 16, 2013

Dykema, a leading national law firm, announced today that nearly one hundred of the firm’s lawyers, in multiple practice areas and in key regional markets, have been named in the 2014 Best Lawyers in America guide. This figure, consistent with the number of Dykema attorneys on last year’s Best Lawyers list, represents nearly 25 percent of all lawyers in the firm.

Additionally, seven of the firm’s practitioners have been named Best Lawyers’ 2014 “Lawyers of the Year.” This special distinction is conferred upon a single lawyer within a practice area and metropolitan market.

The Best Lawyers in America© (Copyright 2013 by Woodward/White, Inc., of Aiken, SC) is the pre-eminent national listing of outstanding attorneys. This annual guide is derived from exhaustive peer-review surveys in which thousands of leading lawyers confidentially evaluate their professional peers. The 2014 guide recognizes 92 Dykema attorneys in more than five dozen practice areas in eight of the firm’s national offices.

Peter M. Kellett, Dykema’s Chairman and CEO, observes, “We are honored to have so many of our attorneys—almost a quarter of those in the firm—earn Best Lawyers recognition. This distinction is particularly meaningful as it reflects the judgments of one’s peers, a discerning audience that truly understands the value of legal service excellence.”
