Sarah R. Douglas
Senior Counsel
Sarah Douglas is an attorney in Dykema's Dallas office. She focuses her practice on litigation matters.
Sarah brings extensive trial and appellate experience to Dykema. She has tried more than 85 jury trials—more than 70 as lead counsel—and handled complex criminal matters in both the Economic Crimes and Public Corruption and Major Crimes Sections of the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
Before her federal service, Sarah spent more than a decade at the Collin County District Attorney’s Office, including in the Appellate Division, where she authored over 60 appellate briefs and argued nine cases. She is known for her high-impact trial and appellate strategy and precision in managing the voluminous discovery that comes with trying complex cases.
Sarah earned a J.D., magna cum laude, from Texas Tech University School of Law and a B.A. in Political Science, magna cum laude, from the University of North Texas.
